Markhum Stansbury, Jr.
Editor/Storyteller, Video and Interview Preparation
Markhum Stansbury, Jr. hails from the Barbeque Capital of the World, Memphis, Tennessee. While earning a degree in English at Georgetown University, he won Georgetown’s Kreeger Award for Acting and discovered he had a talent for acting. Much to the dismay of his parents, he scrapped the master plan to obtain a JD/MBA for the much more safe and stable career of actor/writer/director/producer/poet/comedian/substitute teacher/museum curator/Lyft&Uber driver. While navigating his way through Hollywood, he has done everything from valet parking to teaching English at UCLA. He is a published poet (Strugglin’ 2B Free by Veracity Press), Walt Disney Screenwriting Fellow, and has appeared in several productions including the award-winning, The Thing Before The Thing and his hit one-man show that he wrote and produced, The Rev. at the Church of E.L.V.I.S.$. He is a member of the Board of Governors and interviews prospective students for Georgetown University.
Chris Schneider
Editor/Storyteller, Video and Interview Preparation
Christine (Chris) Schneider is an Atlanta native, and attended Brown University, where she studied Comparative Literature/Literary Translation. She applied and was admitted to Columbia University’s MFA program in Screenwriting and Directing – twice – but did not attend either time. Instead, she took a year off after finishing at Brown, and taught Princeton Review and high school French. Then she had a thought that went like this: “I love to read and write. Maybe I should go to law school.” This turned out to be imperfect logic, Nonetheless, she attended Emory Law School in Atlanta on a half tuition scholarship. Chris co-chaired the Greater Atlanta Alumni Interviewing Program for Brown University from 2013-2019, and has interviewed hundreds of students for admission to Brown. In her spare time, she studies Spanish, invests in real estate, and still loves to read and write.
Josie Miller

She can write an essay in her sleep and will help you find your best essay topics. Her Common Application essay can be read upon request. Our most affordable staff member, she is also the busiest, so do not delay if you want to work with her. She will give you very frank feedback on essay topic selection and writing style and content.
